      Computer Engineering

The department of Computer Engineering started its journey in the year 2010 with an initial intake of 60 students to cater to the requirement of trained Engineers in the field of Computers. The department is presently having a Under Graduate (UG) course in Computer Engineering, with an intake capacity of 120 students and Post Graduate (PG) course in Computer Engineering with an intake capacity of 24 students. The department has modern laboratories which are equipped with latest computers, software's and peripherals. The student to computer ratio is maintained of 1:1, with 24 X 7 internet facility and WiFi. We also boast of modern infrastructure facilities and beautiful ambience to support overall development of the stakeholders. Our aim is to create skillful Computer Engineers enthused with the soul of polished methodology and mindful responsibility. To achieve this, we have competent, dedicated and highly motivated staff to train our students. Besides the regular class room teaching, we conduct special trainings in soft skills programs (personality development, communication skills, group discussions, debate, etc.) and foreign language programs (Japanese and German) which are a continuous process for development of students to facilitate better placement opportunities. The Department is known for its excellent results in academics. The department has signed many MoUs with different organizations for the advanced programing languages and foreign language courses. Our staff is motivated to carry out research work in varied fields like: Database, Data warehousing, Data Mining, Networking, Wireless Communication, Image Processing, Wireless Sensor Networks, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics and Internet of Things (IoT) etc.We expect our students to take the advantage of the facilities in the department, gain knowledge and excel in their chosen career.
